At SkyCity, we want Gaming to be enjoyable and feel right for you. That's why all of our Gaming Machines and Automated Table Games have a Pre-Commitment tool to help you decide, before you play, how much time and/or money you're comfortable spending.
SkyCity offers two Pre-Commitment options to support our customers. Each option works slightly different, depending on what type of limit you want to set.
Pre-Commitment for Gaming Machines and Play Time Limits
This pre-commitment option allows you to:
- Set spend limits for Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs) and Automated Table Games (ATGs), and
- Set time limits that apply across all Gaming activities, including Table Games.
Limits are set directly through the Gaming Machine using your SHOW by SkyCity membership card, with on-screen messages to help you keep track as you play. If a limit is reached, your card will pause from play until the limit timeframe resets.
This option is available to all SHOW by SkyCity members and can be set on any Gaming Machine.

Pre-Commitment for Table Game Spend Limits
SkyCity also offers a separate Pre-Commitment option for customers who wish to set a spend limit that includes Table Games (TGs) play.
With this option:
- You set a monthly spend limit that applies across all gambling activity, including EGMs, ATGs, and TGs;
- Spend for Table Games is calculated based on Casino chip purchase and cash-out activity; and
- Limits are managed with support from the SkyCity Host Responsibility Team, who are available to help you choose a limit that feels right for you.
To use this option, customers need to enrol directly with Host Responsibility by completing the below application form.
