Signing up to SHOW by SkyCity is free, quick and easy to do!
SkyCity has introduced carded play at all our New Zealand casinos. This means you’ll need a SHOW by SkyCity card to play any casino games.
What You Need to Complete Sign Up in less than 5 minutes:
- An original photo identification (ID) (see full list below),
- Your residential address, and
- Your contact phone number and/or email address.
NB: Digital IDs, photos, screenshots and expired documents cannot be accepted.

All ID must be:
- Clear, legible and a good likeness
- Valid and not expired or cancelled
- In English (or translated into English)
- Original physical documents
Acceptable Forms of ID
Your current passport or physical NZ or AU driver licence will give you the fastest online sign up experience.
If you choose to sign up in person at SkyCity, the information provided below will ensure you bring the right documents to sign up and play.
You can bring one of the following:
- Current passport
- Current NZ or Australian driver licence
- Current NZ firearms licence
- Current overseas national identity card (with signature or biometric data i.e fingerprint)
OR
A Kiwi Access Card or SuperGold Card with photo PLUS one additional government-issued document with your name and date of birth, such as:
- NZ birth certificate
- NZ citizenship certificate
- NZ marriage certificate with name change
OR
An International Driving Permit or foreign driver licence with a government-issued document with your name and date of birth, such as:
- Overseas birth/citizenship/marriage certificate (with translation if required)
Will I Need Anything Else?
- In some cases, SkyCity may need additional information such as your source of income or wealth. This is to meet requirements under the AML/CFT Act 2009. For more information visit skycity.co.nz/aml.
- If your NZ driver licence only has a single name, please also bring a government issued document or bank statement with your FULL name (first name & last name), current address and be dated within the last 12 months.
